Call for Book Chapters: Transforming Education through Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) – Innovations, Challenges, and Opportunities
The International Society for Technology, Education and Science (ISTES) invites chapter proposals for an upcoming edited volume on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in Education. As GenAI technologies such as ChatGPT and other large language models increasingly shape the future of teaching and learning, this book aims to explore how these tools are transforming educational practices, policies, and outcomes across diverse contexts.
This volume seeks to highlight not only the innovative applications of GenAI but also the conceptual, methodological, and ethical dimensions of its integration into education. We welcome contributions from scholars, researchers, and practitioners who offer original research, robust theoretical frameworks, or rigorous empirical studies—whether qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods in design.
We particularly encourage studies conducted across different educational levels and learning environments that provide insights into the evolving role of GenAI in supporting, enhancing, and challenging traditional and modern pedagogical practices.
